You will begin to develop a
professional telefolio during this course. The portfolio you develop
will serve two primary purposes: (1) to use as evidence that demonstrates
some of your teaching abilities and (2) to practice developing the kind
of performance-based assessment NC uses for initial licensure. You
will collect artifacts that are appropriate from the internship and block
2 courses and align them with part of the NCATE standards. For each artifact
included, you should have an appropriate rationale statement that includes
context, impact, and alignment (rationale samples will be shared). You
also will include your philosophy of teaching and resume. Drafts of the
philosophy and resume are due April 19.
You will submit your Telefolio
no later than Monday, April 26.
