The MTI (Modern Technology and Inventions) board has contacted me about a special, top-secret project that they need fresh, creative minds, like you, to work on.  I told them that I would give you their orders and that we, as a class, would help them as much as we possibly could.  They said they's send us proper compensation in due time.

 The past few weeks have been rather slow when it comes to new inventions.  The MTI board has been stumped as to why no new inventions have been turned in for them to inspect.  With a fast coming deadline, the board members are calling out to us for help.  These are their orders:

They have sent us various objects to use to create new inventions of our own.  They wanted me to remind you that no new invention is too crazy or too weird.  People will buy anything these days you know.  You must find a partner and start working on your project together.  You will have to come up with an invention of your own, take a picture of the invention showing its usefulness, and individually write up a report or advertisment introducing your invention to the common world.  You make work in groups for the invention and picture-taking processes, but the board wants seperate advertisements or reports from each person.
