This Literature Circles Unit is based on the set of  "Little House" books written by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  This unit provides students with the opportunity to learn about the way of life from the pioneer era and compare it to their heritage.  Within this unit there are three different leveled books for the teacher to provide reading experiences to different academic levels.  This unit can accommodate readers who are at third, fourth, and fifth grade reading levels.  This unit also includes activities and additional resources for the classroom teacher.
