- Brenda Reese is the Principal at Mabel Elementary School.(Pictured Above)
 

-Ashley D. Ambrosi is the Art teacher at Mabel Elementary School.  She has been part of the Mabel family for three years.She enjoys rock climbing, pottery, and stained glass.

- Laura McClure is the Spanish teacher here at Mabel Elementary School (pictured above).

- K. Leigh Badders is the Guidance Counselor at Mabel Elementary School.  She has been part of the Mabel family for nine years.  She was born in Florida, but she grew up in Boone.  She graduated from ASU.  She enjoys spending time with family and her boyfriend, reading, photography, walking, and going to church.  She says that her parents have influenced her career.

- Sarah Pinnix is the Music teacher at Mabel Elementary School.  She has been part of the Mabel family for four years.  Also, she is teaching K-8 music, drama, chime choir, and chorus at Valle Crucis Elementary and Cove Creek Elementary.  She is originally from Cary, North Carolina.  She attended Appalachian State University for vocal music.  She enjoys playing tennis, cooking, making scrapbooks, and gardening.


- Amy Miller is the Title One Reading Specialist at Mabel Elementary School.  She has been part of the Mabel family for eleven years.  She has lived in the Zionville community since 1979.  She also graduated from ASU. (Pictured Above)


- Geri Parrott is the Media Specialist at Mabel Elementary School.  She has been part of the Mabel family for eighteen years.  Her most memorable moment at Mabel Elementary was moving from the old school to the new building. (Pictured Above)


- Faye Miller is a volunteer with the Green Thumb Program. (Pictured Above)

- Sheila Potter is Mabel Elementary School's secretary/SIMS.  In her free time she enjoys reading and walking.

- Mrs. Shockly is the reading teacher at Mabel Elementary.

- Audrey Tate is the speech specialist at Mabel School.  She has been in this line of work for 26 and a half years.  She got her undergraduate degree at Bennett College in Greensboro and received her graduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MS. and NC Central State  University in Durham, NC.  She enjoys art (drawing, crafts), writing poetry, singing, walking, and spending time with my family.  This year, she is doing special third grade teaching sessions in the classroom which focus on building descriptive language skills.  Her greatest influence came from her mother who was a teacher, a principal, and a great lover of language and people.  Another strong influence comes from her studies at Washingtion University's Central Institute for the Deaf.  Language development was the major focus of this program.
