CUT THE CHEESE
Gratie Provolone,
the head chef of the amazing new Block Cafe, has discovered a new, fast,
and effective way of cutting cheese, that is, slicing pieces of Cheddar,
American, and Swiss. "Just when you think you will never get all
of your cheese sliced in time for the big party, my Sharp Deluxe will "cut"
your time in half," says Mrs. Provolone. With two kids at home and
a busy restaurant, she does not have time to be tediously slicing cheese
with the time consuming knife method. With the new millennium, and
all the new technology, even cheese has received a face lift. What
is so unique about this product is the dual action slicer. For half
as much work, just one push of the handle, you get twice as much cheese.
I just had to know
what all the noise was about, so I took the Sharp Deluxe around to other
famous restaurants such as Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, and Burger
King just to see their reactions. I had hardly walked out of Hard
Rock Cafe before the owner himself came running out to see just where I
had gotten this contraption from. "I had five orders of cheeseburgers
and the cheese still to cut. Like one, two, three the burgers had
their cheese and I had five very happy customers leaving very nice tips.
What more could you ask for?!?!? Tell Mrs. Provolone that I owe her
one! One slice of cheese that is." The reactions from the other
restaurant were very similar. "Amazing!" "Time saver!"
"Why didn't I think of that?" Even though the Sharp is not out on
the market until this November, the anticipation of the product is mounting.
A housewife stopped me when I was walking down the street to see if I had
heard about the newest time saving invention for the kitchen. Her
excitement was overwhelming and got me excited all over again.
Technology will not leave Gratie Provolone behind. "Knives are out and the Sharp Deluxe is in... for a long time," she said when I was saying my good byes. 'Good,' I thought, 'it is about time someone did something to stop the pain of cutting the cheese.'
