Alright third graders! It's time to create your treasures!

First, you will be divided into groups.  As a group, choose a piece of junk to create your invention.  Brainstorm together and think of what this junk could be used for other than its original use.

Second, take pictures with your new invention as a group with the digital camera. Save the pictures on a disk and use them in your word document newspaper article.

Third, as a group, compose a newspaper article telling about your invention. Include what it is, how is works, where to get it, and any other information you would like to include.

Last, your group will present the invention to the class.  See the grading rubric for more details.

Remember! It is very important to site all the resources that you use for this assignment.
        For example:
         Author, A.A. (Date of Publication or Revision). Title of full work (online). Available: full
