• Choose an item from the teacher's gadget box and invent a new use for it! Time to get really creative! The point is to create a totally new use for the object.
• Take several pictures of your object with a digital camera. Be sure to let each member of your group have a turn with the camera. Your teacher will show you how to use the digital camera and the computer programs needed for this assignment.*If there are no digital cameras, your teacher will scan your regular pictures and bring them up on the computer for you. You may want to adjust the pictures (bigger, smaller, crop the edges, ect.). You can do this by using the Adobe Photoshop.

• Next, you need to use Word to write an informative and persuasive article/advertisment for your new invention. Be sure to save it on your disk!
• Send your teacher a copy of your article/advertisment via e-mail. This is the way he/she will give you suggestions as well as your final grade!
• Now for the web page.  Use Netscape Composer to create a web page for your invention. Insert the article/advertisment that you saved. Remember to make this page attractive but don't overdo it! Sometimes, a little goes a long way!

*You need to cite all images/sources that you get off the Internet or out of books, magazines,ect. This is part of your grade and is a major issue that should be given careful attention.
