Content Description: This software consists of a variety of games that challenge students of many different levels.  This game covers the following skills:  addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, sorting and classifying, mental computation, problem solving, geometry and symmetry, logical reasoning, number patterns, and attribute recognition.  The player can easily set the level he or she wants to play at by clicking on different level turbans.  This software is meant for just one player and it allows you to save games and continue playing at a later time.  We feel that a player should play this game for at least 15 to 20 minutes, but more time could easily be spent playing this fun game.\

Installation:  We found Math Quest to be very easy to install.  The handbook in the CD case also helped to explain things.  The system requirements for a PC is Windows 95, 486/66 or faster cpu, 20 MB hard drive space, 16 MB RAM, 256-color VESA bus graphics, 2X or faster CD-Rom, 8-bit sound card.  The system requirements for a Mac. is System 7.1 or later, 68040 or faster cpu, 20 MB hard drive space, 16 MB Ram, 256 color display, 2Xor faster CD-ROM.
Strengths/Weaknesses:  This game was very easy to play and would be enjoyable for any child. It had very good graphics, which could be a bit distracting to kids, but could also help to “draw them into” math.  Overall, we would definitely recommend this game.

User Comments:  Patty Davis, of Asheboro, NC, played this game and decided that she would definitely like for her four year old daughter to play this when she gets old enough.
