Classroom Management Plan
This plan includes a paper written on the types of routines and procedures that I will want to have established in my future classroom.  Also included in this plan is a picture of my possible room arrangement for my future classroom and a sign up sheet for students to sign up for time to use the computer as well as a sheet that designates time for each child to at least be at the computer station weekly.

Context
This plan was completed the fall semester of 2001 in my Curriculum and Instruction class at Appalachian State University.  I used Microsoft Word to write up my plans for my future classroom.

Impact
Developing a plan for the arrangement of my future room provided me with the opportunity to think about what daily routines I will definitely want to establish in my future classroom as well as the arrangement of the room that I will want to consider.  When considering the procedures and arrangements that I will want to establish in my own classroom, I observed the way in which the fourth grade classroom at Bethel Elementary School, in which I am currently doing my internship, is set up.  My plan may also be helpful for other teachers and my current peers because it will perhaps give them other ideas for their own room arrangement and the procedures that they have set up in their own classroom.

Alignment
This plan provided me with an opportunity to think about and reflect on where I will possibly put computers and other technology resources in my future classroom (Technology Competency 2D).  Considering the way in which I will perhaps set up my classroom has provided me with an opportunity to think about where I will put classroom materials and also how I will manage the materials.  This plan also allowed me the opportunity to consider how I will arrange my classroom in order for social interaction and social motivation to be part of the atmosphere.  It helped me to realize how important it is to consider the arrangement of the classroom as well as the atmosphere that I desire to have in my classroom (INTASC 5).  I will also be continually reflecting on the way that I manage my classroom and will be changing it throughout the year from what I observe going on in my classroom (INTASC 9).
