• Attended various professional seminars which dealt with such issues as time management, classroom discipline, panels of professional educators, and integrating technology in the classroom.

• During this experience I worked with children who ranged from age five to age twelve.  Throughout the summer, I created and led the children in weekly Vacation Bible School lessons.  I was also responsible for doing weekly crafts and projects with the students as well as serving as chaperone on their daily field trips throughout the county.

• As a waitress for Shoney’s I learned many valuable customer service skills.  This experience allowed me to learn more about dealing with individuals who differ from me while also allowing me to work in an environment in which good people person skills are a necessity.
