Dear Parents,

As a part of our class activities this year, the children will be involved in using the World Wide Web to research various topics which will be integrated into different subjects.  I am writing you this letter to ask your permission to include your child in the Internet activities.  I am aware of the many inappropriate sites that are available to the users of the Internet and that is why those sites will be blocked by a program called Net Nanny.  The sites that the children will be accessing will be appropriate for their grade level.  With these precautions, it is still important that I have your permission for your child to participate.  Of course, if choose not to allow your child to participate there will be an alternate activity or resource for them to use.

Sincerely,

Miss Urban

Dear Parents,
This year we have a lot of exciting activities planned for your child.  In some cases your child's photograph may be requested which explains the reason
for this letter.  Your child's safety in all cases is considered and for any reason that your child is photographed will be under appropriate situations.  Examples
of reasons your child may be photographed may be for scrapbooks, memory books, class pictures, newspaper articles, etc..  Please sign this letter below
identifying your preference regarding your child being photographed.  If you have questions feel free to contact me at school.

Sincerely,

Miss Urban
