Copyright Policy and Discussion And Handouts

In this presentation, we discussed the laws and regulations regarding Copyright Policies and how to avoid breaking Copyright Laws.  We saw a power point presentation that displayed the proper way to cite an Internet source when using it for educational purposes.  We discussed that a portion of a copyrighted work in its original form is okay to use if it is for news reporting or research and education.  Therefore, if we wanted to use a portion of a copyrighted work when we begin teaching, it will be legal, but we need to remember to cite the original source.  We discussed the appropriate way to cite Internet sources for this type of presentation.  We were also given a handout that had different styles of citing that we can refer to when citing Internet sources.
