I am a hard working young woman who
is very dedicated to becoming a teacher. I have acquired the skills
necessary to be successful and help my students be successful. I
would bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to any classroom setting as
well as knowledge and inspiration to learn.
* Work History
December of 1994- August of 1995 After
School Teacher, Educare Daycare
I cared for a group of elementary aged children
in the afternoons. It was my responsibility to plan and organize
lessons, and to maintain a safe and fun environment for the children.
November of 1996- May of 1997 After School
Teacher, Berri Patch Preschool
I was again in charge of organizing and
planning appropriate projects for the same age group of children.
January of 1998- May of 1999 Caller and
Supervisor, Appalachian Loyalty Fund
The loyalty fund is an organization on the
campus of Appalachian State University which raises money through Alumni,
Faculty and Parents for the benefit of the students. I began as a
caller, and was then promoted to supervisor at which time my responsibilities
expanded to overseeing the call center as well as continuing to raise funds
for the university.
Summers of 1998 and 1999 Summer Camp Counselor,
Charlotte and Brevard Counties
I was responsible for the summer activities
of children between the ages of 4 and 9. I had to plan and organize
projects and events as well as supervise and maintain a safe environment.
