2. http://discoveryschool.com This website is designed by the Discovery Channel and has sections for teachers, parents, and children.  For teachers, the site offers lesson plans, resource guides, a puzzle maker, etc.
3. www.atozteacherstuff.com This website lists numerous lesson plans for every subject of study and every grade level.

5. www.teachers-connect.net This website offers lesson plans and classroom activities for all age groups.  It also offers teachers the opportunity to communicate about everyday problems and solutions.
6. www.halycon.com This website was created specially for special education classrooms.  It offers a wide range of helpful strategies for the disabled learner.
7. www.google.com This website is a search engine for education websites.  It is helpful for finding lesson plans on any subject matter and for any age level.
8. www.ericir.syr.edu This website is a nationwide system of Clearinghouse and support agencies designed to help educators, librarians, and the general public keep up to date on education-related issues.  ERIC stands for Educational Resources Information Center and is a federally funded information system.
9. www.education-world  This website offers various tools for the classroom, including lesson plans, puzzles, and worksheets.
10. www.eduplace.com This website is helpful for finding more information on a number of subjects in the classroom.  It is also a good place to look for lesson plans and classroom activities.
11. www.lessonplanz.com This website specializes in lesson plans for the classroom.  It offers ideas for kindergarten classrooms all the way through high school.
12. www.abcteach.com This website is useful in making teaching tools for the classroom.  Teachers can make puzzles, flash cards, etc. to be used along with a lesson plan.
13. www.puzzlemaker.com This website functions specifically to create different types of puzzles to be used in the classroom.  Teachers can create crossword, scramble, word search puzzles, etc.
14. www.lightspan.com This website is useful for teachers who need to give a classroom award, for whatever reason.  There are various templates for simple award making.
15. www.ncae.org This website is for the North Carolina Association of Educators and can be helpful for comparing notes with other teachers in this state.
