Special Education Resources on the Internet (SERI) is a collection of Internet accessible information resources of interest to those involved in fields relating to Special Education.  

NICHCY, which stands for the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities, serves the nation as a central source of information on: disabilities in infants, toddlers, children, and youth, IDEA, No Child Left Behind (as it relates to children with disabilities), and research based information on effective educational practices.

Wrightslaw is a website dedicated to current publications on the topic of Special Education law. 

National Clearinghouse for Professions in Special Education is a clearinghouse featuring careers available to the Special Education educator including links to recruiters, management, and educator resources. 

Teachers Helping Teachers is a lesson plan website that is updated weekly. This site often features lesson plans specifically designed for Special Education teachers.  

Assistive Technology is a library website specific to Special Education topics that features technology information, lesson plans, Special Education law, and clinical information as well. 

The Learning Centre: resources for students with special needs.

The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) is a website that defines the different branches of the US Department of Education and provides information about support programs that assist in educating children and adults with special needs.

National Association of State Directors of Special Education

IDEA Partnership reflects the collaborative work of more than 55 national organizations, as well as technical assistance providers, and State and local organizations and agencies. Together with the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), the Partner organizations work in the row of buttons across the top of the page. Information, resources, and services can be found along the left side.

Learning Disabilities On Line (LDOnLine) is the leading information service in the field of learning disabilities, serving more than 200,000 parents, teachers, and other professionals each month. Launched in 1996, it was the first and is by far the most visited learning disabilities site on the web. LD OnLine features thousands of helpful articles on learning disabilities and ADHD, monthly columns by noted experts in the field, a free and confidential question and answer service, active bulletin boards, and a Yellow Pages referral directory of professionals, schools, and products.

WebABLE is a website devoted primarily to the technology available to persons with physical challenges. In addition, this site provides information on professional conferences, workshops, and seminars as well as and updates on matters pertaining to Special Ed. law.  

The Instant Access Treasure Chest The Foreign Language Teacher's Guide to Learning Disabilities has websites and articles on multiple learning disorders from ADD to Visual deficits, government resources and legal information.
