Posting a blog post with WordPress.com

Go to WordPress.com (http://wordpress.com/) and logon (Already Hip)

Find Your blogs: name of your blog; click on it.
You will be looking at your dashboard;

Click Post (left side bar)

Enter the title (top text area)
Write your post in the text area (Upload/Insert), or write your text in Word (do spell check) then copy and paste it into the text area
Find Discussion and make sure Allow Comments is checked

Find Publish button (blue on right side)
Click Publish button

Go to your blog and see if it posted or view post

Posting a blog page with WordPress.com

Go to WordPress.com (http://wordpress.com/) and logon (Already Hip)

Find Your blogs: name of your blog; click on it.
You will be looking at your dashboard;

Click Pages (left side bar)

Enter the title (top text area)
Write your post in the text area (Upload/Insert), or write your text in Word (do spell check) then copy and paste it into the text area
Find Discussion and make sure Allow Comments is checked

Find Publish button (blue on right side)
Click Publish button

Go to your blog and see if it posted or view page

Commenting to a blog post or page with WordPress.com

Go to the CAROL Discussion Forum

Find a blog you want to read and post comment
Click on the blog title
You should be able to read the post and comment in the reply box

Leave a Reply

Write your comment in the text area, or write your text in Word (do spell check) then copy and paste it into the text area
Sign your name (this is very important for me to give you credit for your comments)

Push Submit Comment button

Go to blog and see if it posted

You can edit posts, pages, and comments by following similar steps.
