me that Sarah wants to go swimming. Before now she has seemed reluctant

make the reader feel? It made me feel like things are going to work
out on the prairie and Sarah will want to stay with the family permanently.

Sarah is trying very hard to preserver
on the prairie. She also wants to make Papa, Anna and Caleb happy.
Problem
Sarah misses her family and the landscape
of Maine.

and gets a new “family.”
