Some of the things I noticed in the story were the awesome illustrations.  I like to draw and illustrate stories so I feel like I connected in that respect.  This story made me feel grateful that winter is coming!  It was so hot there and the illustrations made it come to life.  I can remember living in Pittsburgh when I was younger and there was a drought.  My family and I were at a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game and all of a sudden, after three weeks, it began to pour rain.  This is how I relate to the story the most.

I would love to read all of my friends this book!  I am really good at expressing stories and making them fun to read as well as engaging.

In section 1, I read about a little girl who lives in the city and wants it to rain.  She wants to put on her swimsuit, but her mother will not allow it.  So, she visits one of her friends and asks her to put on her swimsuit.

I am most like Tessie, I think.  I am a bit sneaky sometimes, but curious is more like it.  I am also very compassionate and excitable.  I like to help people out when they need it, and also when they do not need it, and I get really excited about helping people!!

I have not read any stories yet, that remind me of Come on, Rain!  However, I am sure I will eventually and I will be able to relate another story to it.  It would be fun to write a children's book like this about my experience at the Pirates game, then I could relate it to my own book.
