1 Passage on your Own
P.19 Par.3
First two words: We all Last two words:
home sometimes
This passage is a thought invoking passage because I
think it is very profound. It gives us a look into Mila's thinking
without her actually having to tell us that she is sad
and misses her home.
Thinking Question: Have you ever been nostalgic
for you home? How did you feel while away? Did you adjust?
I was homesick when I went to camp
one year. I was really sad, but I adjusted and ended up having a
great time.
Why did the author use this passage in the story?
I think it was included to help us
better understand Mila and how sad she is about being away from home.
