Tanta Rose is affectionate when she blows the children each a kiss from the street because Eve calls down to tell her bye!
DEVOTED p. 15
Tanta Rose is devoted to Hannah and her family because she sells come of her own valuables in order 
to have money to feed those children.
CONSIDERATE p.22 and 23
Tanta Rose is considerate because when she wants to take a bath and the kids all want to take one also,
she lets them all go first, not caring if she has hot water left over.

Goal:
Her goal is to take care of Hannah, Libbie, and Eve while their parents are way in Russia during the war.

Problem:
The city is having a major epidemic of influenza (flu) and the children are constantly exposed to it.

Solution:
Tanta Rose checks with Vashti before the girls go out if they are not feeling well.  She makes sure they are alright and regularly checks them to make sure they are in good health.
