Explanation: Ki-pat uses the arrow that he made and the bow to shoot at the cloud to loosen the rain, so that his animals can live.
 
 

Character's Goal: Ki-pat’s goal is to make it rain over the Kapiti Plain, so that the grass can get water to grow, so that the cows can have food to eat.

Character's Problem: Ki-pat’s problem is that there is a drought, and the Kapiti Plain needs water to feed the plants and animals, so that they can survive.

Character's Solution: Ki-pat’s solution is to use a bow and arrow that he created out of his surroundings to shoot at the black cloud to make the rain come out of it onto the plain.
