Why are the Landon's in the Florida Everglades?  The Landon's are in the Florida Everglades, because the manatees are an endangered animals and they are getting sick, but no other marine life are getting sick.

What does Bridger think about Frankie and why?  Bridger is confused that the best fishing guide being a woman, because this does not fit in his stereotypical form of what a lady does.  A fishing guide is a man's job, therefore, with Frankie being a woman and being a fishing guide he leads on at first not liking Frankie.

Why do you think Bridger has these stereotypical feelings about how men and women are suppose to act differently in society?  I feel that Bridger has these restricted feelings about women and men, because all his life he has been around a man environment.  Since, his dad is a bull rider and has only been around men, he has not had a woman role model around him to tell him any differently.
