The setting for section three
is a volcano on Hawaii so I decided to investigate more about Hawaii.
The weather on all of the Hawaiian islands is pretty much consistent throughout
the year. This is possible because of the year-round warm sea surface
temperatures. There are really only two seasons in Hawaii: the summer
months (called Kau in Hawaiian) that extend from May to October and the
winter months (Ho'oilo) that run from November to April. This makes
it difficult for young children to learn about the seasons because it is
so warm year-round. "Visitors to Hawaii will find that it is a marvel
of nature. As a result of the shielding effect of the volcanic mountains
and the differences in weather found at various elevations, there are as
many different climate zones here as exist along the entire coast stretching
from Alaska to Costa Rica. The islands can be described as an incredibly
diverse collection of many micro-environments, each possessing unique weather,
plants and animals."
If you ever go to Hawaii there
are many sites that are most sees. You cannot leave the island without
going to an authentic Luau... not only will you have fun but you will also
learn a lot about Polynesian and Hawaiian history. You may also want
to go to Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head while on Oahu. You may also
want to visit the only palace in America because Hawaii was the only state
to have a monarchy. No matter what, you will need to plan for a lot
of fun because there is so much to do in this beautiful state.
The information for this job
was found at http://www.gohawaii.com/weather/
and from personal experience
because I lived on Oahu for three years.
