"Kinetic City" www.kineticcity.com This site contains activities related to all the books in the Tall Tales series.  It has direct information about Tall Tales: The Case of the Growing Suspicions and activities that can be done when reading this book in the science, health, and other curriculum areas.

"Tall Tales."  http://www.hasd.org/ges/talltale/talltale.htm This web site tells what a tall tale is, how they got started, and has links to the stories of Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed, Pecos Bill, John Henry, and Tony Beaver.  It also gives instructions on how to create your own tall tale.

"Texas Tall Tales Tell Me A Lie." http://www.nativetexan.com/talltale.htm This website can go along with the book Holes.  There are many tall tales that originate in Texas and this web site has links to several.
