Character: Marvin Redpost

(explanation or proof of trait) Marvin snaps at his sister when she asks Marvin and his friends to play a unicorn game with her.
 

2.  frightened p. 10 par. 1
Marvin was not only afraid to ride his bike down suicide hill, but his was afraid to ride his new big bicycle.  He got into trouble with his mom on purpose so he wouldn't have to ride his bike with his friends.

3.  confused p. 18 par. 1
Marvin acts confused in that he didn't understand how he had gotten himself in such a horrible situation.  Marvin doesn't know how he will get himself out of it.

Marvin's goal is to ride his bike down Suicide Hill without looking bad in front of his classmates.

Problem:
Character's problem is
Marvin's problem is that his is very scared to ride his big new mountain bike down Suicide Hill and he doesn't want to admit this to his classmates.

Solution or Possible Solution
A possible solution is that Marvin could admit that he is afraid and tell his classmates that he will not ride his bike down Suicide Hill.  Another solution would be that Marvin could overcome his fears and practice riding his new bike and then attempt to ride it down Suicide Hill.
