The class will read together Chronicles of America: COLONIAL TIMES by: Joy Masoff.  Students will be placed in groups to complete the first two portions of a KWL chart.  The groups will be divided up with students from each reading level in each group. Each group will then complete the K and W portions of a KWL chart. The K stands for what they know about Colonial life after having read the book. The W stands for what they want to learn about Colonial life. (The remainder of the chart will be completed after students have read their Literature Circle books.)
