Answer: pg 51 par 4, Opinion- it is not stated in the book that he is sad, just that he wept which although unlikely he could have been weeping for joy. It is our opinion that he is sad over losing his wife.

I chose this passage because it was suspenseful. I was in suspense as I
waited to see what would happen between the Indian and the "white" men.
I was glad that they did not shoot him.

Why do you think Captain Standish said not to kill them because we will
need them? I think it was because he knew it would start a war and that
the "white" men needed all the help that they could get.

I chose this passage because it was entertaining. I was entertained because
Leister and Dotey got what they wanted, to go exploring, but did not enjoy
it. I thought that it reminded us to be careful what we wish for.

because they shouldn't have gotten to go in the first place but they did
get to go so they should have kept their mouths shut and been happy.
