Closing Activities  
    As a closing activity, students will divide into groups according to book topics, witches or pilgrims. Students who have read books on both topics may choose which group to join. Each group will become experts on their topic by engaging in discussion. While in groups, students will make a front page news on their topic. Front page news is an activity that requires students to organize information modeled after a front page of a newspaper. The groups will then reconvene as a class and share their knowledge while presenting their front page news.
    For homework, students will finish filling in their L column from the launch activity. Next day, class will share what they learned.
