1. "Catch a star like Miss Florence Mills."  I chose this passage because it shows how everything is very magical in this story.  Why do you think the author wants you to dream in this story? "We ain't got but two dimes to rub together and you all go wishin' on some fool tree!"  I chose this passage because it proves that everyone isn't a dreamer.  Some characters in the story are very realistic.  The two dimes statement proves that they don't have much money.  Why is it so important to know the families money situation?  It ties the story to the Great Depression.  (informative) pg. 9
