I chose this passage because it shows how everything is very magical in
this story. Why do you think the author wants you to dream in this
story? Because this story is set during the depression and dreaming is

2. "We ain't got but two dimes to rub together
and you all go wishin' on some fool tree!" I chose this passage because
it proves that everyone isn't a dreamer. Some characters in the story
are very realistic. The two dimes statement proves that they don't
have much money. Why is it so important to know the families money
situation? It ties the story to the Great Depression. (informative)
