What caused Sarah to get arrested and what were the effects?

Sarah was arrested for cutting buckets of water that would put out the fire.  The Captain believed Sarah cut the buckets because her brother was supposedly in the jail that was on fire.  Sarah would then try to get her brother out of jail through the fire.

How do you think Sarah feels about the British now and why?

I think she hates them because they have caused the death of her father and brother.  She also hates them because the British guards tried to deceive her and still her money and they will not believe her about the fires.
