Modifications For A Special Needs Student Who's is Labelled ADHD
Suggestions for integrating this student successfully into Lit.-Cirlces:
- Determine if child want needs attention, or just acting out.
- Have entire class stretch and move around periodically.
- Allow him to pick a buddy who will watch out for him.
- Have entire class stand up if they have a question.
- Provide an hourly schedule for the student.
- Put this child in a high reading group to keep him on task.
- Read all test aloud.
- Give instruction to entire class then ask him what he is supposed to do.
- Stand near the child to keep him on task.
