Social Studies Extension     This is a language arts unit that integrates social studies through the book selections.  The theme for this unit is understanding  the 'points of view' from those who were alive during the Revolutionary War.  The selected books provide a slave's perspective, women's perspective, and a young girl's perspective of the war (reference bibliography).
