What do you think the theme of this story is?
I think the theme of the story is that everything should be done out of love.  She can be the best strega as long as she always shows love to everyone that comes into her house.

2) Pg 19 Par. 1
Do you believe that the old magic or new magic is best?  Why?
I believe the old magic is best because Amelia was showing her new magic and got the goat stuck on top of the roof and the old ways were used to get the goat off the roof.

3) Pg. 6 and 7
What is the relationship between Grandma Concetta and Nona?
They are extremely close.  Grandma Concetta takes Nona with her everywhere so she can learn everything Grandma Concetta knows.
