What does Mary do that puts her life in jeopardy?
Mary said that the girls were faking their actions and really were not bewitched.  This puts her life in jeopardy because they claim she is a witch and they take her to jail.

What do Puritans go to trail for and what happens if they are found guilty?
They go to trail for kissing in public, wearing the wrong kinds of boots, or falling asleep in church.  If they are found guilty then they must pay a fine.  Some crimes they get whippings and go to jail but witches are killed.
