Do the people stop believing the girls?  How do they feel about the situation?
They do not disbelieve the girls but they decided that since specters were the work of the devil the what the specters said could not be trusted.  They decided no more people should be found to be witches.  They did believe that they saw the specters.

2) Pg. 46 Par. 2
After Ann's speech do you believe the girls really saw specters? Why or why not?
I do not think they saw specters.  I believe they got caught up in what they were doing and could not get out without being big enormous trouble
