The Modern Fashion and Invention activity is an exciting project in which students come

up with new ways to use odd objects.  In groups, students will choose random items from a

box, think up a new way to use the object, take digital photographs of their inventions being

used, write an advertisement describing their invention, and then design web pages displaying

all their work.  The activity is fun, and it also meets standard course of study competencies in

Language Arts, Information Skills, and Computer Technology Skills.
