Directions for Students to Become Modern Inventors:
* Choose a partner to work with. In a box labeled "Invention Objects" choose an item that sparks your interest.
* With your partner's help, brainstorm inventions that your item could be used for. Be creative!! There is no limit to what your item could be used for.
* Decide what invention, or tool, your object could be used for. With a digital camera, have a fellow classmate take you and your partner's picture using your newly invented device. It is best to take more than one picture so that you will have a variety of pictures to choose from.
* Individually, write a newspaper article that advertises, or helps to sell, your item. You may want to write about the inventor, the history of the invention, or how the invention can be used.
* We want all the world to see what great inventors you are! Using Netscape Navigator, you will type the newspaper article that you have written and insert your digital photographs to make a web page that sells your invented product to everyone who surfs the web.
