EXPAND YOUR MIND!!

Pick an object from the pile of objects provided by the teacher and come up with a creative, new way to use the object. When your group has  brainstormed and come up with the idea, more creative the better, use the digital camera to take a picture of your group with the object either in motion or as a prop. Make sure you save the pictures onto a disk to be later incorporated into your web page. This object can be used however you want it to. You will then take your ideas you came up with as a group and write an individual article for a newspaper telling about your object in a story. This story can be about sports, fantasy, music, etc., as long as it has to do with your object. This can be an article telling people about your object, an advertisement or just a simple story. You may share ideas within the group but the article must be written by yourself. You will turn this in as part of your web page grade. After you have written your news article, you will begin creating a web page, individually, that you will turn in for a grade as well. Using Netscape Composer, be sure to include both your news article and the pictures you have taken with your digital camera. Using Adobe Photoshop, you can change the size of your pictures. For help using Adobe Photoshop click here. Once you have put your article and pictures onto the web, make sure you give credit where credit is due. Here is a rubric in which to follow as you are completing your web page and what I will be looking for:
