A Culture Kit is simply a transformed shoebox that contains items that represent a different culture.  The items could represent the people, economy, or land.  A few vocabulary words and definitions can also be included.  When shared, these Kits expose and educate the whole class about a new culture.  This is a way to get students involved with multicultural education.
