This is an analysis of two third grade Social Studies textbooks. In order to complete this analysis, I worked with a partner to locate and select two third grade social studies textbooks. We examined the text's ability to meet North Carolina social studies curriculum goals, readability, multiculturalism, and other appropriate teaching and learning aspects. The examination taught me how to choose among textbooks for my classroom (10.6). |
