Context
Document One was created in spring of 2000, for my block classes.  I used the Math Shop Deluxe Software and I accessed the following web sites to gain reviews on the software. (KidsZone.com ) (DiscoverySchool.com ) (Scholastic.com

Impact
This evaluation is a good resource to use for future use in the classroom.  As a teacher, I will incorporate different software programs into my classroom to enhance learning.  By having evaluated software I will be able to determine which software would be appropriate to use in my classroom.

Alignment
This artifact aligns with the Competencies 10.6 , 12.1 , 13.1, and INTASC Principle 9 .  By having already evaluated software I will better be able to evaluate software in the future, thus giving my students tools that are not only fun but also have educational merit. This also enables me to effectively evaluate learning and teaching.  Having experimented with the software myself I am better able to determine what to expect from the students and how to evaluate learning.  Also by having learned how to evaluate software I am learning how to use a larger variety of technology.
