Where today's action begins:
p.7 the journey begins at the magic treehouse. it is on top of the tallest tree house in the woods, in frog creek. they go to the treehouse in the crisp, early-morning air. inside the treehouse, there are books scattered everywhere! they see the pictures of a knight and castle and this is how their journey begins.
Where key events happened today:
p. 26 jack and annie cross the moat and go into the castle. once inside, they hear music and noise. They see a great feast taking place. inside this room, there is a huge fireplace. There are antlers and rugs hanging on the stone walls. on the floor, there were flowers. men and women were dressed in capes and furs and they sat at long, wooden tables.
p.28 They are seen! they run and hide in the armory room. this is the room that is filled with armored suits. jack makes a lot of noise and they are found!
p. 38 they are taken to a dungeon. chains hung on the grimmy walls. the dungeon is lit with torches. water is dripping from the ceiling and making puddles on the wall. it is a scary place.
Where today's events end:
p.53 jack and annie find themselves in the dark, foggy night. they have crossed the moat and now they are lost. they do not see the treehouse. they were cold and wet.
