 Your job is to sketch Annie.

You will need find three character traits, or three words that describe the character.  Remember, these traits will be implied character traits. This means the traits will not be directly stated in the passage. You will then need to find the proof of that trait and the page number(s) where this is made certain. Use descriptive words! No good, bad, nice or mean allowed!
Next, you will need to tell one of the character's goals in this section.
Then, chose a problem that the character faces and a possible solution to the problem.
Finally, illustrate the character.

Your job is to first find a word that you do not know and write down the word,  page number and paragraph number.
Next, copy the sentence that includes the word you have chosen.
Think about the word, the sentence, the story and write down what part of speech you think the word is and what you think the word means.
Write down how the word adds meaning to the story. Think about the characters, plot, setting, theme, etc.
Make a word wizard card! On one side, put the word, page, and paragraph number in large print. On the other side, draw a picture to represent your word, along with the word and your definition.
