This activity is designed to get student's wheels turning!  Students will use writing, information skills and computer skills.  Students will enjoy this fun filled invention assignment.  They simply choose an item (provided by teacher) and make a new name and use for the object.  They will then write a news story about its uses, including images captured using a digital camera.

This activity was designed as part of the Elementary Education curriculum at Appalachian State University  in a class for integrating media and technology into classrooms.
