The New Way of Walking!

The Hoverbelt 2010

Boone, NC

Have you ever said to yourself, “Man, my feet hurt” or “ I’m tired of walking”?  Well, inventor, Penelope Santiago of Beaufort, NC, heard your cries. She is the inventor of the Hoverbelt 2010. This pleasing-to-the eye product is not only a fashion accessory, but also a new way of getting around. The Hoverbelt 2010 is projected to take the place of walking, riding a bike, skateboarding and any other way people like to travel short distances. The Hoverbelt 2010 is user-friendly. Simply put the belt on and push the hover mode button. Next, select a speed ranging from 0-15mph. To maneuver yourself, place your finger on the 360 degree arrow in the direction you would like to go. Simple as that!

The Hoverbelt 2010 is great for all age ranges. Young children will no longer worry about tripping and scraping their knees and adults can travel quickly to their lunch and back when time is limited. “Instead of rushing from class to class, I can relax and just glide to my destination,” said Michael Hensley, a student at Appalachian State University. It is rumored that Penelope Santiago is in the running for Time magazine’s person of the year for her practical invention. “Santiago’s creation is changing the way people get around. The Hoverbelt is efficient, reasonably priced and provides many benefits,” says Time’s spokesperson, Ron Huddle. The Hoverbelt 2010 will hit the stores at the end of this week. Get in line early and change the way you travel forever!
