Name: Letter to Parents: a word processed letter to parents of students explaining the goals of the class and informing the parents of the activities in which their children are participating.

Impact: I created this letter during student teaching to send to parents of the students.

Context: In order to keep into contact with the parents, teachers can use this type of letter. It is important to keep in contact with parents so that they are aware of the material being learned in the classroom by their children and so that they are constantly updated on the activities occuring in the classroom.

Alignment: This type of letter can be used to foster a relationship between the teacher and the parents (INTASC 10).
