- This is a unit plan for first grade Social Studies. The focus of first grade Social Studies is all about myself, and identifying with my friends and family. Within this unit, students will use computer skills such as word processing. (10.1)(10.4) At the end of the unit I would ask the students to tell me how to save a word processed document to a disk for assessment. (10.5)
