Summary: This is a story that takes place during the time of the
Revolutionary War. The story is told from the viewpoints of two different
children. The first child is a young Indian boy who is called Stands
Straight. The other child is a young, white boy who is what
they refer to as a Friendly, his name is Samual. The story is a recollection
of what each child was going through and experiencing during the war.
At the end the two boys meet and there is an unexpected occurance.
