News Analysis

The News Analysis is an excellent way of demonstrating my ability to utililize cable resources in facilitating learning.  This involves a deconstruction of the typical national evening news broadcast referenced with video captures as examples (12.6).  Using aspects of media literacy, critical thinking and higher order thinking skills are used in analyzing why the creative choices and decisions are made in  daily production of a news broadcast.  By having participated and being knowedgable about this type of activity, it can be easily adapted for a younger participating audience.
