The drawing that accompanies this is an idea of a classroom. The class is divided up by subject. The math section is set up by stations for small group and individual work . The math materials are stored in cubies where all children have access. The reading area is comfortable and in a remote location for quiet reading. The children can also listen to audios in this section. The art tables are set up in the center and toward the back near the bathroom and sink. I feel that this drawing shows an environment where children can grow and evolve with other peers help and with the help of the teacher(12.4).The drawing shown here is taken from Math Time by Kath Richardson copyright 1997 by Educational Enrichment.
